Pros

Really hard to think of any pros for this place.

Cons

The management is becoming uglier everyday. No respect even for the full-time employees, as recently as lot of full time employees are let go without providing/considering their needs for no reason. The engineers are respect at the least compared to ask the other departments. I also have seen biased working environment depending on managers nationality. You need to get a doctor's certificate with any stupid reason even to have an adjustable desk. I have never seen this anywhere. You need an approval from VP, to get an extra MacBook charger. The food vending machines are totally stuffed with the cheap and unhealthier food. And all that you have is baked chips packets like Lays everywhere. And oh, the CEO and his PA, they are always loud in their conversation, never minding the people around them. The upper manager spend most of their time on politics to bring down the other people within the same office. The voices or suggestions or requests of rookie are never answered, never considered, no matter how good or bad they are. Verdict: If you really want to put yourself in a place where will never be treated good, welcome to realtor.com.

Pros

Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
