Pros

Boy's Club. Realtor.com Management is great about taking out some of the guys in the evening. Sometimes management will buy lunch or treat people to lunch. Luck of the draw Prizes and Prizes for Sales. Nice break room (sometimes with free snacks), clean restrooms, nice looking newer building, ample parking, landscaping, security doors and friendly receptionist.

Cons

Big Promises with High Turn over due to unrealistic quotas. Boys' club. If you take this job, keep looking for the next one after Realtor.com. Even heavy hitters may see the door. Three months off quota and you are out. Always signing new sales agreement (Sales Compensation Plan), so that you don't know how long it will be before you don't make your numbers. The product you are selling can be a boomerang, when there is product for you to sell. Integrity issues are rife. You will be told in the interview about sales numbers that are not in your sales group or state and told about high numbers by people were let go for not meeting quota, eventually. If you take this job, you will remember later that you read this in advance. Cheers!

Pros

Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
