Pros

Stable, mid-sized, realistic opportunities for advancement and career growth, good products, good team environment, great people to work with, good work life balance. Company does promote from within, work hard and you'll get recognized. I was promoted into a management role within 2 years.

Cons

Doesn't have some of the "cool perks" associated with other tech companies but health benefits are good.

As a new employee myself, it is nice to hear that you’ve had such a positive experience at our company. I joined Move as EVP of People last month because it was clear that everyone I met during my interviewing process was adamant that employee’s are the company’s most valuable asset. The leadership team – from Ryan O’Hara on down -- is committed to reinforcing this. My priority is to ensure that our employees are not only rewarded for their efforts, but that they have the resources and support to continue to develop professionally. As for “cool perks,” stay tuned. We are building a vibrant new corporate headquarters in Santa Clara and redesigning our Westlake Village office, for starters.

Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
