Pros

Honestly I have zero positives

Cons

By far the worst health insurance I’ve ever had at a job. Realtor.com is cheap with health insurance. To go to the doctors ur gonna pay a copay of 100 dollars EACH TIME you go…. It’s honestly embarrassing such a big name company has the worst health insurance. The managers micromanage everything. You have to literally dial pretty much every 30 seconds in between calls or you’ll get deducted points off your production. They expect you to dial 200 dials. You don’t even have a pipeline. No accounts to your name. What is the point of calling 200 accounts if I have zero to my name. Only accounts you’ll get to name if you have a convo over 12 minutes which is hard. The top rep at the company he had 12 REFUNDS in the month. He owed the company money back. They don’t like to tell you but you will expect major refunds and owe the company your commission back. Also it’s contract 12 month contracts which is insane to have zero accounts to your name because 12 month contracts are rarely closing on the first call. They write you up for everything. This job I would look at it as a transition job. You might have for 6 months or less. They just don’t take their employees seriously so a lot of people working there see it as a transition job for 6 months or less. Also quota if you miss quota 2 times in a row you’re fired immediately they don’t average ur numbers out…. Honestly worst company I’ve ever worked for. Ur literally being micromanaged the entire work day. I can’t think of one positive of the job.

Pros

Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
