      Pros

      Health insurance contributions are the best I've ever seen or heard in my 10-year professional career. Compensation is very good. The people are generally cool. My boss(es) are awesome, but some of the other managers I've interacted with are not. Overall a very good company to work for.

      Cons

      The office layout in WLV is dreadful. The majority of employees sit in cubicles with little-to-no access to natural light. All while the windows are occupied by conference rooms and executive offices that are usually empty. The company seems to be very management-centric but needs to invest more in keeping the product cutting-edge, and less on politics/procedures. I'm not a developer or innovator per se, but it seems like our competitors are usually a step-or-two ahead of us in making the product more valuable to consumers.

      Great news! We are currently in the process of "remodeling" our WLV office. There will be much more light, better use of space, and an environment that is vibrant. I think you will be so excited to see the changes. As far as the Vision, Mission Values, campaign, I would love to hear more specific comments on this. I was new to Move when the VMV was rolled out so feel free to message me for more feedback.

      Pros

      Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

      Cons

      It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
