Pros
Good work life balance, flat hierarchy and you can discuss with your managers with regards to anything (even complaints) Cares about it’s employees, as seen from COVID-19 situation... announced mandatory WFH before other companies do it, and gave additional money to support WFH expenses Truly open source culture, where anyone can talk to anyone for anything
Cons
Project management in Consulting could be done better If you doing a certain Red Hat tech, you’ll probably keep doing it, which limits exposure to other tech (Red Hat tech profile is very expansive) Management hasn’t been replacing good Consultants who left (they are trying, but still unable to do it quickly). Entire consulting team has < 10 people who are with Red Hat for > 3 years. Pay is lower than market rate, which is one of the reasons why ppl are leaving
