Pros

-You get what you make of it, you will be supported of the people around you as long as it is working out well for the bottom line and you can get them to like you -Nice people, with a descent talent pool. Employees like what they do. -Not afraid to have a little fun -Lots of variety -Lot of independent control, responsibility -Half-day Friday's are very nice, and groups form to do fun activities from time to time (be outgoing early to get invited-worth it)

Cons

-Clique-ish. If you fit in perfectly you will have an amazing time. If you don't, you feel that heavily. -Company always talks about growth and wanting to do bigger, better things, and they do try. But they also get spooked easily and end up springing backwards in progress too early or without learning anything from the experience. I don't see much more growth unless someone steps up. -Not great at communication and can be passive aggressive or ignored. There is a tendency be informed, or hear important information through gossip of a decision that feels out of the blue and unsettling. As a group we would talk about this and how to do it better, then have it happen again exactly as before. -Not great on worklife balance, You need to be available to work extra hours as needed but no flexibility in hours in return. You CAN leave early for something, but you can heavily feel that that is a no-no, unless you are in the popular group.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Your insight helps make us a better company. We are an agency after all and we expect our team to work hard when it’s time to work but we also put a high value on work-life balance. We are one of the only small agencies in Utah who offer Friday's off, which has helped balance things quite a bit. We are one of the only small agencies in Utah who offer half day Friday's, which has helped balance things quite a bit. We have multiple divisions/teams here and we try hard to make everyone feel welcome on each team. I'm sorry you felt your team had a clique and that it was missed during a one on ones. We'll make it a point to ask in the future. Anyone who has worked at Red Olive can attest to the fact that when something isn't working we don't sit back and do nothing, we act. We address process regularly weekly and evolve our tools on a regular basis. In regards to growth, we've signed more national clients in the last 12 months than we have had in the last five years. So clearly we need to do a better job of informing all employees of these developments. We listened to feedback that putting people in team rooms hampered collaboration so we are building a planned space from the ground up to fit our unique workflow. We are by no means perfect and are nowhere near having it all figured out, but we have certainly come a long ways from our early days. Thanks again for your opinion, we can certainly do better.

Pros

Employees care about one another, and want to help each other succeed. Feels like family and they all collaborate well to perform great work.

Cons

With new ownership changes, some of the benefits are left lacking. There are still wonderful benefits to working here, insurance benefits are just expensive for what you receive
