Pros
I have never met and worked with so many amazing people in my life, everyone from Ric Elias (CEO) to the sales agent at the bottom of the totem pole. As an agent you always have someone to reach out to for anything you need, and your managers are always there to listen to your calls and coach you on your areas of opportunity. I moved up the ladder into a management position after about a year where I continued to get a lot of support from my senior managers, and was very successful. The benefits are amazing, and the prizes, events and comp make this one of the best places to work in Charlotte.
Cons
While the money and the perks are great, its not all rainbows and butterflies. You will start out with a very crappy schedule I started working Wednesday-Sunday from 5PM to 2AM. When I started in 2012 the compensation was amazing, however RV has finally turned into just another big corporation compensation had taken a very drastic decline the last 4-5 months I was with the company they finally realized they don't have to continue to pay their tenured employees the big comp checks they are used to when they have thousands of people lined up for employment which has caused a very large turn over rate recently. It is also very easy to get burnt out and if you are good at sales and want to continue to make decent money the only career move is to Performance Manager where you will work much longer hours for a lot less money and more stress. As I mentioned it is a great place to get sales experience and many companies in Charlotte look very highly upon that experience it is not a place for a long term career.
