Pros

Nice headquarters buildings Great equity pay if you stick around for 7+ years to collect it Lots of vibrant early-career employees who are well-intentioned

Cons

Founder-led CEO is highly narcissistic and cosseted by an inner circle of home-grown managers who all have very little industry experience beyond RV. Churn and burn work environment, a lot of hubris about the product / value of RV businesses (which is essentially just a clickbait farm and digital sales firm), and very little curiosity or experience beyond the hubris and hype the PR team work constantly on to prop up and promote the CEO Toxic culture; everyone is expected to hype up the organization, the CEO and the leadership team constantly, and it's very "woke-washing". No actual inclusivity, diversity or equity focus. Anyone who steps out of line, questions anything or demonstrates the acumen to be critical of the status quo is fired summarily. Most of the great staff who come on board from outside stay less than a year, and then quit. Likewise, all their experienced industry talent come in through acquisitions (Healthline, Lonely Planet etc) and quit within 6 months.

Pros

Strong ownership, opportunity to manage people early, great people, nice campus. You will work on interesting problems and external companies. Great training if the space interests you.

Cons

Business future is uncertain, up or out management principles. New senior leaders somewhat disconnected from the day-to-day. Commute from Charlotte is horrible.
