Pros

Campus has a ton of amenities and food selections. Many learning opportunities for those beginning their careers. Great co-workers and good people. Work/life balance was decent. Great benefits Great PTO/ sick day policy Relocation assistance

Cons

A lot of the RV experience depends on your team; I had a great team, but I know some people who did not. Pay is not competitive. Pre-Covid and the normalization of remote work, the campus amenities somewhat made up for it, but now they reject remote work and pay you less. They will then tell you how remote work leads to crippling depression, but then will hire fully remote employees that happen to not live near an RV office. I used to respect Rick (CEO), but over time you realize he’s a bit of a mega-pastor. He conflates his personal opinions with RV values, but doesn’t actually emulate them. No one is perfect, but the self-righteousness gets irritating. Which leads to the culture: it was always a bit cult-like, but it intensified in 2020 to the point where the CEO would call out certain opinions that you needed to have in order to continue working at the company.

Pros

Strong ownership, opportunity to manage people early, great people, nice campus. You will work on interesting problems and external companies. Great training if the space interests you.

Cons

Business future is uncertain, up or out management principles. New senior leaders somewhat disconnected from the day-to-day. Commute from Charlotte is horrible.
