Pros
They say there is a lot of opportunity to move around within the company, which is true. It’s a good place to start and learn how to navigate the corporate world. Good benefits and great work life balance. However, I wish I would’ve left earlier.
Cons
The promote / pay structure is toxic. Performance based reviews create a toxic work environment where people step all over you in order to get ahead. After a “great year” only got a pay increase of 3%. They hire people straight out of college in order to pay less. Also, if you switch to a different role, you cannot get promoted or a raise within 6 months of the role change, meaning that you can go a LONG time without a promotion or raise, regardless of how your performance was in the previous role. After many years at RV being severely underpaid, with an HR department that does absolutely nothing, I left. Get your experience and get out.
