Pros

Benefits are fairly solid, lots of room to gain certifications and company pays for them. Also have gym reimbursement program along with some other perks. Managers encourage professional growth as it helps the business grow also and expand their offerings. Ability to work remote vs. sitting in an office is also a nice perk depending on what your role is.

Cons

A mix of upper management handling personnel issues poorly and overall stall in the sales pipeline has caused some layoffs and hardships at Redapt. This has created a seasonality which the company really needs to get away from. Unfortunately, this means job stability is always in limbo more frequently then not. The company tends to hire on the fly without thoroughly looking at overall needs in the long term. This leads to being over capacity with staff coupled with low sales to keep employees working long term, resulting in quick lay offs and essentially no shame letting good people go to save the bottom line and keep upper management fed. There is a good ol boy mentality since the company did an acquisition last year which has led to running things like a plantation. If you're not part of the 'in' team, you're constantly on the chopping block.

Pros

The manager is remote and basically only cares if you check in every morning and night. That's all they were good for.

Cons

The manager will offload your coworkers holidays and days off requests to you. They will ask you to take servers off site to a local FedEx if they don't ship it in time. They will pay new hires with 5 year gaps in their experience more than you.
