Pros
- They offer benefits (expensive and terrible plans if you have kids/family) - Managers are great! They’re experienced agents so they understand life in the field. Some of the best managers you could ask for, they still sell. - Good meeting content with lunch provided - Some really fantastic Realtors on the team
Cons
- Very few leads compared to a few years ago. We used to get over 25-30 a month. The new commission structure is not favorable like we had it before with a salary and event pay. Bring that back so agents can earn a living wage. - Many customers don’t know how it works, they have other agents and just want to tour a house. - No base salary or hourly pay. Employee status with a low draw, after taxes that is $600 every two weeks. Some months there are such small commissions that you’re just working to cover your draw that puts you in the hole. -Terrible listing pay. Paid off 1-1.5%. With the draw, you end up making very low commissions. Best to be at a traditional brokerage to sell less but earn more
