Pros

The staff, and dealing with the occasional lovely customer

Cons

The pay. The fact you’re promised progression and training, but that is never fulfilled. Stressful work environment. Understaffed with no budget from head office for more help. No weekend penalty rates, but expectation to work weekends. I paid overtime, hours worth a week. Taking on leadership positions with no extra pay or title - budget won’t allow for promotions. Bonus structure based around individual performance, but to do well you have to work yourself into the ground. Toxic management and the promotion of people who are toxic.

Pros

Immediate Leadership (whom were fired with no cause) and Co-Workers (who were outsourced or reorganized)

Cons

This is the most toxic workplace I’ve worked for in my career. Senior Leadership does not care about team members and has stated that in private conversations. There are two cultures in Reece - one in the field and other at Regional Support Center (RSC). The RSC consistently is cutting costs (outsource, on-shore) or plainly eliminate with additional work spread to remaining team members. The CFO has little to no care about any employees and has been there for a long time. Leadership around her has cycled in 2-3 years consistently in her 20+ tenure (Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller/Controller). Whole accounting team and almost all of FP&A has left/replaced when I was there (less than 2 years). This is a high turnover workplace if you are looking for a place to work long-term, STAY AWAY!!!
