Pros

Pay and benefits are good. If you don't want to work you'll like it at Reed as there is no accountability for attendance or quantity of work.

Cons

Reed is plagued by a significant drug environment where the college administration turns a blind eye to under age alcohol consumption, drug use, drug dealing, and sexual assaults of staff and students. The college won't tell the parents of a minor student when they become the victim of a sex crime and won't report it to police either unless the student wants these reports to occur. The school portrays itself as open to diversity, but actually they discourage conservative views of employees. The school has an atmosphere that fosters bullying of staff. If a student complains, or multiple students, or multiple staff gang up on someone of conservative background the HR director will look into the matter, believe the group complaining without other evidence, and move to terminate the employee despite the only thing they have done is try to maintain accountability and honesty.

Pros

Kind work environment that allows you to complete plenty of school work or studying during your shift. Employee discount is also always nice! Plenty of shifts available for pickup.

Cons

Low amount of scheduled hours, but again, you can always pick up shifts!
