Pros
The students are driving the institution toward a more equitable expression of itself. You will likely experience the most intelligent and thoughtful coworkers you've ever had. The benefits are second to none and the campus is beautiful. Campus culture, broadly speaking, embraces gender diversity and non-binary identities though this trait is not uniform within all offices.
Cons
The administration protects leaders and managers who are toxic and harmful. Even at the associate level, the expectation is that employees will be at-attention 7 days a week. The stress level for administrative staff is high at all observed ranks. The atmosphere can be somewhat litigious and prone to politics, even for a higher ed institution. While I do believe the college has the best intentions in moving toward racial justice, it has yet to make the necessary changes to prove its commitment to equity and inclusion.
