Pros
Texas is great, Deep Ellum is an up-and-coming foodie hub and bar district, and the people you work with every day are wonderful. The projects aren't what you get with a big studio, but it's always something different.
Cons
Layoffs and down-time have become endemic, and lots of people have abandoned ship as things have gotten rocky. Everyone has low morale, and management really doesn't have any lines of communication with the artists. As people leave or get let go, the studio also is getting top-heavy, reducing opportunities for promotion, which is especially irksome as there have been no raises in at least two review cycles (if we had reviews any more, which we don't) There's zero sense that management or the studio as a whole has our interests in mind.
