Pros

Very Talented People Nice environment with no walls attached, Deep Ellum is Great fun spot Most people are very friendly and helpful to needs Company sometimes holds events for employees and special talks Benefits the works Great place to start and learn the ins and outs

Cons

Obviously no overtime pay Supervisors forget when you need help, especially when you are new and want help. They will try to get you to work late and on weekends without trying to ask you flat out. Promise that people can move up to better positions, but long hours and quota filling doesn't mean anything. if you aren't in the cool club or aren't with the higher talent you won't get anywhere. Staff position doesn't mean a thing, you are another contract like everyone else. no security Minimum wage start out / better off contracting

Pros

Reel FX offers a range of roles from getting your foot in the door to the industry to working with directors creating feature film animations. While I was there, everyone I worked with were the most wonderful and talented people I’ve ever met.

Cons

I don’t contribute this to Reel FX, but the industry as a whole is pretty volatile

Pros

People are mostly nice and welcoming. Some truly talented artists to learn from. It's a good place to gain some experience

Cons

The company as a whole seems to lack a clear direction and focus
