Pros

It's a really fun atmosphere and free movies are great. If you enjoy the work there, there are some opportunities to advance (although once you hit FT associate you have to wait for people to basically leave the company or switch tracks to go any higher).

Cons

Because of the issue with insurance we are only given a certain amount of hours. Even FT positions I think average less than 40 a week. Sometimes the guests can be frustrating given the way they treat you considering the amount of work that you do for your position.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
