Pros

Remember when Regal had a set of guidelines for conducting business. WOW! We got the Full-Time positions we have been demanding for ages; but Regal just axed the Full-time positions in a pay rate that was barely livable to completely impossible and pretended like that was adding Full-Time Positions. AMC is probably in Heaven Right now; They just got a influx of already trained managers added to the candidate pool. Good job handing over all of Regal's top talent to the competition. If anyone is still interested in perusing a career in the movie theatre industry after 4PM on 1/17 it will not be with Regal.

Cons

Brilliant Idea. Let's solve the problem of turnover by laying everyone off. Did anyone have the guts to stand up and say why don't put everyone in the new positions we created and not replace them as the move up? Since you know, in this new plan, we are supposed to be moving up so quickly now. There should be plenty of open spots within the coming months to not have to ruin the lives of thousands of your managerial staff that have been devoted to this company for years.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
