Pros

The only pro left is the coworkers. We have all become a family. Well, a family until the new company terminates everyone or everyone leaves due to the new changes.

Cons

Where do I begin? - No financial career growth (capped pay indefinitely ) *Floor Staff $7,25 an hour *Team Lead $10.50 an hour *Senior Team Lead $11.50 an hour *Assistant Manager $12-13 an hour *Deputy General Manager $15-16 an hour --General Manager: -Complexity 5 30k a year -Complexity 4 40k a year -Complexity 3 40-50k a year (12-18 screens) -Complexity 2 50-60k a year (18-22 screens) -Complexity 1 60-80k a year (23+ screens) -New policies daily, can be reprimanded for violations leading up to termination/suspension -2 passes WEEKLY (including self) for part time -4 passes WEEKLY (including self) management (full-time) (essentially 1-3 passes weekly) -Required to have open availability including ALL holidays and weekends -Max daily limit on discounted concessions - Unrealistic standards that have nothing to do with watching films -High School / College student incentives relinquished with new ownership (i.e weekly allotted passes) - New guidelines make it impossible to efficiently aid the guests in any shape or form. Management has to direct them to numerous help lines which typically result in prolonged results. A majority of the time, this leads to disgruntled patrons and a sour taste in the customer's mouth. -Absolutely no flexibility in work hours

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad that you found your coworkers to be like a family away from home since we understand that who you work with can heavily impact your overall experience. As a part of the restructuring, leadership wanted to emphasize the importance of creating a clear and defined upward mobility track that encouraged employees to move up into higher leadership roles consistently, rather than stagnating in one place. Please feel free to elaborate on how you feel management could operate more efficiently under the new guidelines at your specific theatre or provide any additional feedback for our review at morgan.grimes@regalcinemas.com.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
