Pros

I have never worked for a better company than Regency Pacific. They care about all of their staff and try to balance the big decisions in the best interest of everyone involved. They stay abreast of upcoming changes in the industry, research it, and provide the tools needed to embrace the changes. They have key team members at every level who are well trained and ready to help. Here at Regency Albany we are building a team of employees who not only provide quality service but do all that we can to provide good internal and external customer service.

Cons

As in all Long Term Care Facilities, there are always changes in staff. People leave as their lives grow and change and new team members come along with valuable traits to add to the group. Change is always hard.

Pros

Nice residents and okay pay, but that's it.

Cons

This facility is a abuse and health code violation waiting to happen. Residents smell like urine, open wounds get fecal matter in them and aren't properly cleaned, and rooms are unclean, especially in the memory unit. I've worked in this position long enough to know that it is not normal and a sign of abuse if this occurs. Shifts have drama, and there is a lot of resentment between shifts. The hiring practices are also very predatory, and they hire immediately without a ton of time for onboarding and seeing how the facility runs. I was asked during my interview about how I "handle workplace drama," which raised red flags. Also, some employees will talk about residents and their families in a demeaning way. Management is also unprofessional and inconsistent with their communication. All in all, the Pullman location is predatory in how they take advantage of the college students in the area and make them risk their licenses in an unsafe working environment.
