Pros

Stellar work performance is recognized and rewarded often times with advancement opportunities. The Owners and Regional teams are reachable by phone which creates open communication access.

Cons

The only con for me is the companies policy on using your sick time benefit they offer. You can not use sick time for the 1st day you call in sick so most times when employees were calling in it was for a full three day stretch as days 2 and 3 were paid. In addition you were on a point system for call in's. If you called in sick for 1 one it was 3 point but if you called in and it lasted for 3 days it was still the same 3 points.

Pros

Nice residents and okay pay, but that's it.

Cons

This facility is a abuse and health code violation waiting to happen. Residents smell like urine, open wounds get fecal matter in them and aren't properly cleaned, and rooms are unclean, especially in the memory unit. I've worked in this position long enough to know that it is not normal and a sign of abuse if this occurs. Shifts have drama, and there is a lot of resentment between shifts. The hiring practices are also very predatory, and they hire immediately without a ton of time for onboarding and seeing how the facility runs. I was asked during my interview about how I "handle workplace drama," which raised red flags. Also, some employees will talk about residents and their families in a demeaning way. Management is also unprofessional and inconsistent with their communication. All in all, the Pullman location is predatory in how they take advantage of the college students in the area and make them risk their licenses in an unsafe working environment.
