Pros

LN staff was mostly nice

Cons

*calling off work was challenging. They would question your reason, if you were sick they wanted you to come to the facility to be "assessed" 2. Administrator pretends to care about staff but truly doesn't 3. No breaks or lunches. Staff doesn't make sure your getting your required breaks. CNAS will clock out on phone and continue working the floor since staffing PARs were insufficient. * Average pay * sign on bonus is a trap

Pros

Nice residents and okay pay, but that's it.

Cons

This facility is a abuse and health code violation waiting to happen. Residents smell like urine, open wounds get fecal matter in them and aren't properly cleaned, and rooms are unclean, especially in the memory unit. I've worked in this position long enough to know that it is not normal and a sign of abuse if this occurs. Shifts have drama, and there is a lot of resentment between shifts. The hiring practices are also very predatory, and they hire immediately without a ton of time for onboarding and seeing how the facility runs. I was asked during my interview about how I "handle workplace drama," which raised red flags. Also, some employees will talk about residents and their families in a demeaning way. Management is also unprofessional and inconsistent with their communication. All in all, the Pullman location is predatory in how they take advantage of the college students in the area and make them risk their licenses in an unsafe working environment.
