Pros

Good Benefits, most co-workers are friendly.

Cons

This company does not pay bills on time or in a timely matter. The management does not have any compassion for their vendors, especially the "mom and pop" vendors who need paid. I went to management with concerns of how many complaints I was receiving, management told me to "lower my expectations". This was not acceptable for me. You will spend 95% of your day dealing with unhappy vendors and trying to put out fires from years ago that were never dealt with. Culture here really suffers from the high turnover, and negative environment. You will have no work/life balance here as you are always playing catch up in a place that will always be behind since they don't pay on time and are very understaffed. Example: I had to take my child to the doctor and requested to leave 2 hours early, the response I got was very unfriendly and I was asked "when will I make that up?" No compassion that I needed to take my sick child to the doctor. Of course I had already planned to make up the time but the attitude received was terrible. Besides isn't that what sick time and PTO time (that the employee accrues) is for?? Bottom line is I have never worked for such a negative place and I would NOT recommend working here to anyone.

Pros

Nice residents and okay pay, but that's it.

Cons

This facility is a abuse and health code violation waiting to happen. Residents smell like urine, open wounds get fecal matter in them and aren't properly cleaned, and rooms are unclean, especially in the memory unit. I've worked in this position long enough to know that it is not normal and a sign of abuse if this occurs. Shifts have drama, and there is a lot of resentment between shifts. The hiring practices are also very predatory, and they hire immediately without a ton of time for onboarding and seeing how the facility runs. I was asked during my interview about how I "handle workplace drama," which raised red flags. Also, some employees will talk about residents and their families in a demeaning way. Management is also unprofessional and inconsistent with their communication. All in all, the Pullman location is predatory in how they take advantage of the college students in the area and make them risk their licenses in an unsafe working environment.
