Pros
There are many pros to working here. -In certain areas there are still a few people doing the job and you can still innovate. -You are really helping patients and making a difference. -The company has a non traditional dress code, and the ability to work from home at times. -There are nice perks like free coffee and tea bar, beverages, and a cafeteria subsidy. -If the stock goes up again the stock plan is a great perk.
Cons
The major issue here is the deterioration of the culture. I've been here 7 years and what was originally here has disappeared. The intimacy and closeness with peers is gone, subsumed under a tidal wave of senior managers, associate directors, and executive directors out of big pharma. There are hundreds of directors now. People move from department to department in search of more money, power, title, etc (and often get it rather quickly with this method). Regeneron used to be a lean machine. A company of passionate multi-taskers who would innovate to get it done. Now it's full of bloat.
