Pros

Regeneron is an excellent company overall, though your experience can vary depending on your manager, location, and the organization you're part of. The company genuinely cares about its employees, their well-being, and the long-term health of the business. For roles that require more onsite presence, Regeneron is generally flexible, and many managers are accommodating when employees need to work from home occasionally. Personally, I have never experienced micromanagement, although I have heard from colleagues who have, and in some cases, it influenced their decision to leave. Additionally, the company offers a strong benefits package that is particularly competitive for the area where I live. If you're looking to build a career in the pharmaceutical industry, Regeneron can be an excellent place to start. The company offers opportunities to explore different functions, gain diverse experiences, and develop a better understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape. It's a great environment for discovering where your interests and strengths align while growing your skills and advancing your career.

Cons

One challenge at Regeneron is the inconsistency in work arrangements across teams. It can be frustrating to work closely with colleagues who are fully remote while your role requires a regular onsite presence. Career advancement opportunities may also vary by department, and at times it can feel as though visibility with senior leadership plays a significant role in promotion decisions. Additionally, company-wide policies are sometimes influenced by issues caused by individuals or groups that may have no direct connection to your work, which can be discouraging. Mobility between sites can be limited since the company has a relatively small global footprint, and transfer opportunities often depend on your specific function and business needs. Finally, while compensation is competitive, I do not believe it consistently matches the pay levels offered by some other large pharmaceutical companies.
