Pros

hours are bank hours , Paid Holidays, paid sick time, Good insurance, 401K, Good starting pay (in regards to retail) with no bank experience needed to start at level 1. saturday rotation is a short shift, but noone is every prepared for it Very Very good training, a week of computer training, and a few days with a mentor. Theres a lot of procedure to learn, but regions does a good job in this area.

Cons

takes a month to finally start, (HR is a nightmare but will get to that in advice) Locations were very understaffed, you might come in to work and be told you will work in another location that day warning if you are interested in a management position, if you do not meet your goals, no matter your tenure, they will fire you instead of doing coaching sessions. They would rather replace you with someone from best buy with no bank experience and leave your location understaffed and with inadequate managers

Pros

HR is easily accessible. Some managers may be on your behind about work even though there are easier methods. Some managers with criticize you in front of other employees.

Cons

We have to use five of our vacation days consecutively so they can audit us. We aren’t assigned Saturday shifts close to our home, so some people have to drive farther for 3 hours of work (no mileage). Managers are hit or miss. PE can be affected by location, so try to get a good location.

Pros

There are Bonuses and employee appreciation days. Good rotation on working weekends.

Cons

Your bonus is paid out based on others performance. If you’re having a great quarter, but someone else is doing slightly better, instead of getting paid out on what you’ve done, you get a decrease in your pay. With your sales, there is always a way for regions to take off credit for those sales so they won’t go towards your bonus.
