Pros

- This company knows how to throw events - Many hard working individuals and sharp talent on the team. - The technology challenge to overcome is interesting and will take talented teams to accomplish the company mission - A feedback driven organization is definitely a positive thing and if you can't handle it...you'll eventually realize it's not healthy for you to avoid feedback that will ultimately improve you - The company is very clear and focused on the mission for the next 2 years and anyone claiming that there isn't a focus is flat out lying. - If you pass the exam, things are mostly fine afterwards

Cons

- The RCA exam study process is horrendous. With a ~50% pass rate, be prepared to worry about possibly not having an income for your family in the event that you fail. The company is publicly proud of how hard the exam is to pass. - The training staff for the RCA process is extremely unengaged. They show a lack of overall involvement (attending standup is their best effort) along with frequent mistakes on the SIMPLE task of adding events to your calendar (seriously...it doesn't take much to ensure everyone is on the same page about their schedule).

Thank you for providing your review – your opinion matters to us. You highlighted a couple of points that we’d like to address. You’re right -- the Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) exam is difficult. We expect Relativians, who build our software or work closely with customers, to be certified, which is a common practice for software companies. To clarify, the 2017 pass rate for Relativians was over 90%, and we give individuals multiple opportunities to take the test. Those, required to be certified, are informed about the RCA exam in their offer letters and are able to spend their first paid four weeks on the job studying for the test. Again, thank you for your review and raising important questions for us to focus on as we continue to enhance our certification programs for Relativians and our community of users. George Orr, VP Customer Support and Success

Pros

Free Lunch on Wednesdays Solid Benefits Good pay for new hires

Cons

The flexible work week doesn't actually exist. It's an excuse to require some employees to work more than the 40 hour work week. Chicago employees are required to go into the office at least 2 days a week, even if rest of the team is remote. My specific team is without clear direction or leadership. Performative corporate jargon is rewarded over meaningful contributions. Existing employees are paid significantly less than new hires. At least on my team, there have been differences of $20 to $30K in annual salary for the same level.
