Pros

-Great benefits, including training budget -Overall fun culture -Great office in a good location

Cons

-Overall environment is very toxic and unhealthy. Management loves using the term "feedback" - but feedback is an excuse to treat people like crap and degrade each another on an every day basis. Its a boederline hostile work environment with a fun culture video to cover it up.And HR might as well not even be there because they don't seem to care -Almost half of the executive team has left or been termed since February but its been swept under the rug and glazed over. No one seems to see this as a red flag? -Culture has continuously gotten worse in the last year due to poor leadership on all fronts -ZERO career growth, although the recruiters will advertise otherwise. Don't believe them! You will only grow in this company if you are favored by management or you are a brown noser. If you aren't either of these things, you might as well leave before you even start. -Work/life balance is just a buzzword that is used and the comp isn't enough to make up for the long hours

Pros

Free Lunch on Wednesdays Solid Benefits Good pay for new hires

Cons

The flexible work week doesn't actually exist. It's an excuse to require some employees to work more than the 40 hour work week. Chicago employees are required to go into the office at least 2 days a week, even if rest of the team is remote. My specific team is without clear direction or leadership. Performative corporate jargon is rewarded over meaningful contributions. Existing employees are paid significantly less than new hires. At least on my team, there have been differences of $20 to $30K in annual salary for the same level.
