      Great company to work for - Advanced Software Engineer Relativity Employee Review

      Pros

      I work Monday - Friday. No nights, no weekends. Competitive vacation time, cheap health insurance, standard 401k, and a very fun office environment. Also, the company has a growth atmosphere right now, and there is general upward mobility and dozens of promotions each cycle. Everyone is receiving a stock grant of several hundred shares as well, which could become very valuable as time goes on.

      Cons

      The on-call rotation is more arduous than many other companies due to the need to support so much legacy software. One thing that I don't like is that some people with a lower title make more money than people with a higher title/rank...

      Cons

      The flexible work week doesn't actually exist. It's an excuse to require some employees to work more than the 40 hour work week. Chicago employees are required to go into the office at least 2 days a week, even if rest of the team is remote. My specific team is without clear direction or leadership. Performative corporate jargon is rewarded over meaningful contributions. Existing employees are paid significantly less than new hires. At least on my team, there have been differences of $20 to $30K in annual salary for the same level.
