Pros

If you're looking to build your career in sales, especially when just starting out, this is a great opportunity. You'll work with like-minded coworkers and learn every part of the sales process. If you're successful, you'll also be greatly compensated by the commission structure. Very progressive company and a great place to learn the ins and outs of selling.

Cons

There are some growing pains associated with moving toward a more corporate structure and away from a start-up company structure. Sales opportunity can also be largely dictated by territory and vertical.

Thanks for writing your review; really appreciate you doing that! Especially in Sales we are looking for driven, self-motivated employees who are great problem solvers. If someone shows us this profile along with using a consultative sales approach we are very interested in hiring them. This leads us to hiring a lot of similar people in the department. The commission plan really rewards those who achieve their quota and go above it. As with most smaller companies who are quickly growing, there are some "growing pains" or adjustments that are constantly being made. We're confident that this is greatly improving year after year of being with Bertelsmann. Thanks again for your review!

Pros

Amazing corporate culture Leadership listened to engineering on tools, technology stack, etc Actual product ownership, including necessary input and control (instead of being told you own a product and then not given the necessary access or tools to maintain it)

Cons

Hiring process involved psychological screening with a lot of implicit bias, almost like an IQ test. On the plus side, I've been told they discontinued its use after that was pointed out.

You have kind co-workers and good benefits.

Cons

The strategic direction is unclear for many parts of the business. There is not enough transparency around hiring decisions - including who is still with the company and where there are opportunities for growth.
