Pros

The more face value ones: Unlimited PTO: I cannot tell you how many times I've needed this option on the fly to help me out and it has never been held against me. Benefits: Having amazing health insurance has been so great as well as the HSA and 401k contributions the company puts in. Even having access to legal counsel for $10 a paycheck gives me peace of mind. Hybrid work style: Going back to the office has been optional for me this whole and I am so thankful. While the office is great, being able to work from home has helped my personal life TREMENDOUSLY. This should be the normal way of life for as many companies as possible. Some of deeper pros: Supervisors: All of my managers have been amazing with great support in my personal and professional life and have always supported any endeavor to advance my career. Collaboration: I never fear sharing my thoughts with anyone and collaboration is high. Company culture: Very progressive, which is very important as someone who is a part of a protected community/minority. Rewards: Relias never makes feel bad if I do not go above and beyond exactly what is asked of me. But it does a great job at rewarding anyone who goes above the expectations. Advancement: You move up very quickly and figure out where you want your career to go here. Relias does not shy away from encouraging promotions.

Cons

Pay is lower than Market: The starting pay should be higher. If you research most of the roles at Relias for other companies, you could get paid more. I imagine turnover would lower if pay was higher. Our HQ is in a very hot economy and prices are only going up. Pay does not seem to address this concern. Merit Increases: Based on your annual review, you can get a bump in pay. The problem is, you have to hope that additional pay outpaces inflation. Even then, the bump might not be much left over after accounting for it. The guaranteed base for doing your job as requested should be double whatever inflation is at that time and then go up from there. Data: There is A LOT of data. SO MUCH DATA going everywhere. Which is better than the opposite! But sometimes it is overwhelming. Similar to being bombarded with commercialism. Some times you aren't sure what is relevant for you and what isn't. It would be great if it was better streamlined and cleaned up.

Pros

Amazing corporate culture Leadership listened to engineering on tools, technology stack, etc Actual product ownership, including necessary input and control (instead of being told you own a product and then not given the necessary access or tools to maintain it)

Cons

Hiring process involved psychological screening with a lot of implicit bias, almost like an IQ test. On the plus side, I've been told they discontinued its use after that was pointed out.

Pros

You have kind co-workers and good benefits.

Cons

The strategic direction is unclear for many parts of the business. There is not enough transparency around hiring decisions - including who is still with the company and where there are opportunities for growth.
