Micromanaged, Lack of Trust, Overworked, Underpaid, Favoritism, Harassment - Anonymous employee Relias Employee Review

If you are in Content Development, you WILL be micromanaged. They say you have unlimited PTO but it’s not actually true and salaried employees are forced to timestamp every minute of their day (which NO other company does this within the industry, and if they do, they don’t actually care about their employees well being and mental health, and show they don’t trust their employees.) Leadership will choose favorites, and if leadership makes a mistake, they will throw you under the bus and make it look like you’re being difficult. They will then sabotage every opportunity to help you grow and lay you off. Even though it was said in an All Hands Company Meeting that the executives and department heads won’t tolerate “office politics” and to “feel free to share if you’re being harassed or discriminated against”, it seems that anyone who’s made a complaint against a leader or a “favorite employee” was laid off. Yes we can piece everything together. Former employees in this last layoff also realized that the majority of the layoffs were geared towards people who are in a marginalized community. Relias says they “serve the most vulnerable population” by truly not caring about the most vulnerable population within their own company. Read this statement again. They DO NOT care about their employees. Further, they tried to be “open” about the salaries people were getting paid last year, but then realized quickly how angry people got when people saw discrepancies (for example: employees with the most laborious and productive jobs were getting wildly underpaid compared to those we saw standing around chatting and being unproductive for most days in the office to include leadership.) And then we saw the further mismanagement of money when Relias was spending money on all these “perks” to come to the office or “employee appreciation” while underpaying and laying off employees. Also BTW modern companies let employees have the day off for employee appreciation AND ALL federal holidays off. Run from this company and don’t look back.
