Pros

Great place to work right out of college with limited experience. You will be given the opportunity to show what you are capable of doing, not judged on what you have done in the past. Opportunities for growth are there for those that are genuinely interested. Additionally, the benefits are pretty decent, and the company seems genuinely interested in improving their benefits going forward.

Cons

Growth opportunities are generally limited to individual development, rather than being tied with salary increases. The trouble with this strategy is while you are giving people resources to improve their performance and utility to the company, those skills usually end up being applied to get a higher level position at a different company. More people are developed out of the company to other organizations than are actually promoted internally. This is mainly due to an abundance of qualified and highly intelligent employees though, as opposed to few spots internally for promotion

Thanks for taking the time to write a thorough review. We really appreciate that. We've seen a lot of success with hiring college graduates right out of school and giving them an opportunity to grow. Thanks for the note on the promotions. We typically like to see a salary increase when an individual is promoted into a role that requires more responsibility. Completely agree on needing to find long-term homes for the high potential, hard-working employees. Thanks again for your review.

Pros

Amazing corporate culture Leadership listened to engineering on tools, technology stack, etc Actual product ownership, including necessary input and control (instead of being told you own a product and then not given the necessary access or tools to maintain it)

Cons

Hiring process involved psychological screening with a lot of implicit bias, almost like an IQ test. On the plus side, I've been told they discontinued its use after that was pointed out.

The strategic direction is unclear for many parts of the business. There is not enough transparency around hiring decisions - including who is still with the company and where there are opportunities for growth.
