Pros

Excellent benefits package, nice office amenities, and most roles have opportunities for solid work/life balance. Unlimited PTO

Cons

Every con you read here on Glassdoor is true. -Pay is low despite management clinging to the myth that they pay "above market rate." -Tension is high between individual contributors and senior management over role expectations and performance evaluation. -Large (relatively) layoffs have become common. -Huge majority of employees are stressed out specifically due to layoffs over the last 2 or so years, and sneaky layoffs via PIP have become frequent. -C suite lacks diversity and has lost touch with everyday life. -Employee engagement scores have plummeted drastically in the last 18 months, but management hides behind excuses about pay benchmarking and Gen Z's "outrageous expectations."

Pros

Amazing corporate culture Leadership listened to engineering on tools, technology stack, etc Actual product ownership, including necessary input and control (instead of being told you own a product and then not given the necessary access or tools to maintain it)

Cons

Hiring process involved psychological screening with a lot of implicit bias, almost like an IQ test. On the plus side, I've been told they discontinued its use after that was pointed out.

Pros

You have kind co-workers and good benefits.

Cons

The strategic direction is unclear for many parts of the business. There is not enough transparency around hiring decisions - including who is still with the company and where there are opportunities for growth.
