There are a lot of fake 5 star reviews here. While it can be a struggle to manage a sales org, I have never seen it done so poorly before. You might notice the reviews which provide in-depth detail are all very negative, while the vague 5 star reviews barely have more than 2 sentences. The negative reviews accuratly depict the reality of being a sales rep at Remote. There is zero transparency, consistency or anything remotely looking like a coherent strategy to succeed. The people making decisions have very little experience in SaaS or sales, which creates a toxic environment and extremely low morale. Most reps I spoke to feel the exact same but feel they might be safer with the devil they know. There's hope now that they're on the 3rd CRO in 5 months, that positive change might actually be coming. In my opinion, it's so broken there's no hope a new CRO will fix it. At a most basic level, they have made some very poor hiring choices in leadership, which has stalled the growth of the company to the point where they will never catch up with their competitors. This can be seen in all departments, not just sales. They also struggle with basic things (which is supposed to be the product) like compliance, payroll and support. If you want a terrible work/life balance and still not be able to achieve your quota, then this is the place for you. Also, the responses from Remote to the negative reviews are hilarious. They recommend reaching out to leadership, HR etc. to discuss concerns and feedback. I had the pleasure of doing this over the course of a few months and it went no where. Zero ownership, sales ledership blames compensation, who blames rev ops who blames shareholders? It's a joke. The reason they have zero transparency on how they're calculating quotas is because it's very difficult to tell a team that you've simply created a number out of thin air based on zero logic or data. They actually provided a session on his in early 2023 which made everything worse because they couldn't answer basic questions, so they won't be doing that again.
