Pros
The only pro to working here is if you are one of the people who have worked there for 20+ years and are protected & riding it out, still employed, until retirement while the company continues to bleed money.
Cons
I’d say if you were looking for employment here look elsewhere, but they don’t have funding for new employees anyways so you’re probably safely dodging this company. They continue to lose business, licenses, and entire tiers of distribution. They hide these losses from employees for fear of a mass exodus of staff, yet they will in return do mass layoffs because of the same circumstances. Their only solution for several years has been annual, sometimes biannual layoffs..with leadership still always intact. The motto is to be smaller and more profitable so unless you’re near retirement age……… They are a 100 year old company operating with systems 30 years ago & obviously no money to invest in upgrades. Winston-Salem talent is believed to be more valued than others yet the company continues to fail each year with said better talent.
