      Pros

      You can choose up to five people to be put on your flights benefits list. If I’m remembering correctly, immediate family members are limited to two and can automatically receive benefits after listing them.

      Cons

      The wage advertised is actually cut in half due to the actual time you’re being paid while you’re at work. So the $20-$25/hour is actually more like $10-13 an hour. If based in new york, try to find housing in Manhattan or Queens. Otherwise, commuting from Brooklyn will be an expensive nightmare.

      Pros

      Travel benefits on American, United, Delta, jumpseat agreements with other carriers and ID travel on most other airlines including international carriers. Great starting experience and introduction to working in aviation.

      Cons

      Will hire just about anyone, were hiring by video interviews alone at one time, so quality of people varied. Notorious for base closures, got displaced at least 5 times due to base closures. All bases in Midwest and northeast. In the past most bases were in outstations and noncommutable. Low pay.
