Company is okay but HR is a mess. - Anonymous employee Republic Airways Employee Review

It is a wild west in the HR dept. Everyone does what they want when they want with no regard for how it effects other processes od parts of the dept. Blame is thrown around on those who are not the cause of issues & fingerpointing is the norm. Even though the company has been around for many years the HR dept. operates like it is a start-up. They do not know how to do normal HR processes & tasks without clean-up following. No one knows what each other does resulting in run around for basic information. I am pretty sure the executive team has no idea how horribly the HR dept. is being run or operating. Management keeps unproductive employees but complains about them at the same time. They also say they want to help in any way possible but don't & the performance review program is a joke for many reasons.
