Pros

This is a very chill place to start your career as an A&P mechanic. In Boston they start you close to the other major airlines start pay (atleast in Boston) despite being a smaller regional airline. The PTO is decent all things considered and it’s a nice work environment which adds to the quality of life factor. Though pay starts somewhat competitive (in Boston) it quickly phases out.

Cons

I don’t really have many complaints about working at Republic Airways. Being bew in the field I have enjoyed the working for smaller company where the “pressure” I feel I was prepared to experience based what I’ve heard from on others in the field was not nearly as bad as I’ve heard. It’s been a great place for me to learn, grow my confidence and gain experience.
