Pros

Hello, I would like to say that I am very proud to work for Republic Services and my upper management . Mr. Jamie Amick, Jimmy Torrey, Allison Sheaves, David Holt,Mrs. Diane, Rodney, and Doug. I recently had an accident and they were very supportive and encouraging to the matter. I've been with the company almost 20 years and I must say that I am very proud to work for them and Republic. They advised me and counseled me, giving me advice after coming back from my suspension. I was upset with myself and very apologetic because they know how hard I work and give it my all. Understanding that safety is first and foremost. I would like to thank these outstanding personnel for continuing to believe in me and for allowing to still have my job and provide for my family and pay for my education towards getting my degree. I felt compelled to share my story and give them the gratification that they all deserve.

Cons

There are no downsides that I can think of at this point, because the hard work and instruction that they provide and the level of stress and concern that is placed on Safety everyday is warranted. So get on board because they are serious about it and I definitely know that I am staying even more focused.

Pros

I liked my collegues and we worked well as a team.

Cons

Poor leadership, micromanagement of sales team, disorganized, operations could not service current customers and sales team were expected to bring on new business that we also could not service, zero sense of urgency with operations, a 30% price increase was applied to most all accounts every 10 month and sales team were instructed by the GM NOT to tell new and/or existing customers, very deceitful practices, AI pictures taken from cameras on trucks generated a vast amount of fees that were invalid, customers had to babysit their invoices as to not be taken advantage of, very difficult to retain customers due to price increases, bogus fees, and all around poor service. I’m not sure how or why any customers would use Republic Services.
