Pros

Insurance is average to just below average, especially for Ill. Average pay, phone lines ring fairly often- stay busy with many issues, complaints, increase, etc. Customer service located in US, which is a plus. Pay is average, it's a pay check. Some areas are better to work in than other.

Cons

Very poor leadership within Illinois and Indiana management; embarrassing to work with such unprofessional, and disrespectful people. Extremely poor management skills throughout Illinois and Indiana. If they promote, they “promote” people whom have been here for a long time and would NOT get hired else where, unfortunately. In most all cases, their inexperience and lack of knowledge in customer service, and inability to think outside of the box are just a few characteristics that these "qualified" people usually have. In other words, a very unstable working atmosphere exists in these areas. It’s extremely embarrassing working for a company who continuously raises rates, even under contracts. “Upper-management” has such poor communication skills that an open door policy consists of favoritism, hiding behind emails, and pushing out the good people who can benefit the company. Read all the reviews and listen to your gut, b/c the grass is NOT always greener on the other side, especially with this place!

Pros

The pay is competitive, especially with overtime opportunities, and there is strong potential to earn a solid income for employees willing to work hard. The job also provides steady work and consistent hours, which can be valuable for drivers looking for financial stability.

Cons

The work/life balance for roll-off drivers can be difficult, particularly when working weekends. Drivers are often scheduled in a way that keeps hours under 60 while still requiring Saturday work, rather than being given an additional recovery day during the week. With the level of physical labor involved, one day off is often not enough to properly recover. There is also a heavy emphasis on “swinging” containers. While swings can make sense when locations are far apart, many are scheduled for stops that are very close together and provide little operational benefit. Swings add significantly more physical labor for drivers and, in some cases, can actually take longer than traditional service methods. Over time, consistently working 55–60 hour weeks under these conditions can lead to fatigue and burnout.
