Pros

The organization is holding on to a few good people who are in it at heart and for the right reasons.

Cons

This organization is a non-profit, supported by public donations in the range of $30 million a year. I share this to say. Sadly, the Vice President of HR decides when to conduct reductions in force (RIFs) to "save money" adding more work to those who are already stretched thin. She has been in this role for about 6 months and has already executed 2 mass layoffs. She speaks poorly about employees, shares protected personal information with others, mistreats her department by yelling, degrading them, rolling her eyes, and making them feel inferior. I was there for ONE month, I witnessed so much. She shared a colleague's legal status in the states and the list goes on. She is a numbers person and lacks the human/empathy aspect to her role.
