If you are passionate about caring for the less fortunate and those with complicated medical conditions, then this is the place for you!

Cons

All levels of management from CNC's up to the CEO are solely focused on profits over patients. They lie with a smile on their face. They only time you will see them concerned about policy or procedure is when Joint Commission or the State is in house. Hospital is dirty, quality measures and standards of care are dismissed or overlooked in favored of quicker turn around to earn more $. Unsafe practices are encouraged and department heads reward their staff for poor job performance.

Fulfilling job treating some of the sickest patients in the city, fantastic coworkers, great department leadership/management, state-of-the-art/brand new x-ray equipment, complicated/interesting cases with extremely intelligent doctors

Cons

Work-Life balance, corporate hospital = poor upper-level management/C-suite leadership, lower hourly pay compared to all other area hospitals
