There aren't any pros. I have been looking for a new job ever since I started working at this institution.
Cons
Benefits are not good at all which surprised me since this is not the first hospital I have worked at. Additionally, this is a for profit hospital. Many times I have felt that his hospital has been taking advantage of the patients that come here because of how their tests are done (they will perform duplicate tests and charge for both) and the sad thing is that when that issue has been brought up to management, they told us to do it. Management does not care about patient care at all. They just come into work, stay in their offices all day and come out when it is time to leave. Also, don't think you can come into a job here and have a voice. I tried suggesting things we could do to improve the laboratory, and basically was told to work and not try to question or improve anything. Working for this institution has been very disheartening and I have been looking for a new job ever since I started my first day here.
