Pros

Everyone likes to hang out and have fun, getting to know one another is pretty easy to accomplish.

Cons

Normally a consultant would get paid higher because of job risks associated with contracting. But while they may technically offer you certification reimbursement, or a "Consultant care manager"; that money comes from what that consultant would normally be making anyway. They will also play hard games with you if the contract you're on gets cancelled, they really try to discourage you from providing for yourself and what is best for you, this happened I got hired for a contract that was cancelled, because the legal stuff was not done correctly on their part.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. Consulting is a tumultuous business, and clients can cancel contracts for any number of reasons; however, how we communicate with our employees regarding those cancellations is important. We have shared your concerns with the management team. I hope you will consider reaching out to dialogue@resolvit.com to tell us the city you worked in, so that the relevant team can discuss it in more detail to enhance communications in difficult situations. Resolvit has formal expectations, policies, and procedures for employees between assignments and moving them from project to project. These processes start 90 days before a project is scheduled for completion. However, when one of our clients cancels a project unexpectedly, or when there is a problem on the legal side (as you referred to), it is often difficult for us to transition our employees onto another project immediately. With that said, we always work our formal transition process. I am sorry to hear that you felt discouraged from providing for yourself or seeking out new opportunities when your original contract was cancelled. That was not the intent. We actively encourage our employees to help us find their next projects with our company, as well as helping any other employees transitioning from their projects. Unfortunately sometimes people chose to actively pursue other opportunities outside of the company during business hours while still employed with the company. That is not appropriate or in the best interest of our other employees, our clients, or our company. Finally, Resolvit continuously evaluates all aspects of an employee’s experience, including compensation, benefits, and infrastructure, and team member support. We offer many competitive benefits to our employees, including but not limited to tuition reimbursement, an array of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, life insurance, long and short-term disability insurance, COBRA coverage, prescription coverage, 401k matching, and training. We also engage dedicated business service managers (BSMs) to help our employees with career development, issue resolution, redeployment, etc. They provide a very valuable service to all of our teams. Thank you again for your feedback. We will use this feedback to improve our communication, leadership, and execution, and wish you lots of luck and success in future endeavors.
