Getting to know the residents has been wonderful. I really enjoyed creating events and activities for the community. I also liked working with my co-workers, we all had a sense of pride coming together,
Cons
Management. I have never had such a bad experience with a management team before. From inappropriate comments, to outright making fun of residents AND staff in Focus meetings, to not being willing to compromise when an idea was dangerous or not accessible to residents. I was so disappointed in the HR for the company. I reached out regarding inappropriate comments made about my body and personal relations and was deemed the problem. The management team would ask me to do things that I thought was dangerous for the residents, so when I tried to offer a compromise, I was deemed difficult because I wouldn't just do what they said. I felt I needed to leave in order to keep myself safe.
