Pay does not reflect amount of work done, analysts wear too many hats with no pay, raises can be considered a slap in the face, upper management is clueless in most cases as to what the rank and file is expected to do, training is reliant on colleagues. In short, this corporate America at its finest: get as much as you can out of your employees without paying them for it. And, the no compete clauses make it almost impossible to leave.
