Pros

Nothing that outweighs the cons

Cons

This company shows very little concern for its employees. Leadership is focused almost entirely on hitting financial goals and will cut staff without hesitation to meet targets. Employee well-being, development, and morale are not priorities. Over time, they have mismanaged every successful brand they’ve acquired, driving them into decline. Business is slower and less stable than ever, yet leadership continues to push for short-term results at the expense of employees. High turnover is expected, and the culture is one of fear rather than support. Staff are treated as expendable resources rather than valued contributors. Overall, this is a company that prioritizes profit over people. Success is measured in numbers, not in the quality or stability of the business, and the work environment reflects that.

Pros

The individual contributors are the only thing keeping this place afloat. There are some incredibly talented people here who are doing their best despite the circumstances, but they are burnt out and looking for the exit.

Cons

Working here feels like being on a rudderless ship in the middle of a storm. The leadership at Revelyst is profoundly incompetent, exhibiting a total lack of strategic direction. You aren't just working hard; you’re working in circles because the goals change every single day depending on the "chaos of the week." Communication and Trust: There is zero transparency. Information is hoarded or weaponized, and trust has completely evaporated. Leadership doesn't just fail to communicate—they communicate with such inconsistency that it breeds paranoia. Toxic Management Style: Instead of fostering collaboration, leadership seems to intentionally pit teams and individuals against one another. It’s a "divide and conquer" mentality that makes a healthy work environment impossible. Leadership Apathy: It is exhausting to have to beg leadership to do even the most basic parts of their jobs. Decisions are delayed indefinitely, and there is no accountability at the top. They are quick to shift blame but nowhere to be found when it's time to provide support or clarity. Employee Morale: To say the morale is low would be an understatement. People don't just dislike their jobs here; they actively hate them. The culture is built on stress, confusion, and frustration.
